About this course

– Intermediate/Specialist Course – 

This programme to be delivered using a Virtual Classroom with breakout rooms, self-directed study and guided practice. Each programme consists of 2 interactive Live Virtual Classroom Sessions, individual and team activities, accompanied by supporting material. This programme will explain the basic documents to be included in a full tender process to ensure that each step of the procurement is properly managed. A comprehensive pack of templates will be provided covering the tender documentation as well as the administrative paperwork of registers and evaluation sheets. A review of OGP templates for Goods and Services will be included.

Target Audience

This course is ideal for those within a procurement section tasked with running a full procurement at national and EU levels specifically using the open procedure. It is structured to provide an overview of the rules and the key elements required for drafting, publishing and evaluating tenders.

On completion of this course participants will be equipped with the knowledge to confidently assemble a comprehensive set of procurement documents for the operation of an effective procurement, suitable for compliant operation of an award process which fully meets audit requirements.

Cost

€675 per participant. All training costs are VAT exempt. There is a 10% discount when 3 or more places are booked on this course.

What background knowledge is necessary?

Relevant for staff new to procurement with responsibility for supporting full tender process.

What is the refund policy?

All cancellations must be received in writing or the full course fee is
payable. Where delegates cancel more than 5 days prior to the course 50% of the course fee is payable. Cancellations received within 5 days
will be liable for the full fee.

Substitutions may be made at any time prior to the event.

Do I need to take the courses in a specific order?

Ideally after the Introduction to Public Procurement and eTenders courses or relevant experience.
